Welcome to Laurie Mae's Aesthetics

Hi 

So for those of you that don't know me or what i do . My name is Laurie and I'm a mom of two incredible children .

I started my Journey into Aesthetics in 2018 after going  to get my own lips done for the first time . It was here that i started working with in the clinic doing reception duties and helping in various roles , this really peaked my interest into the Aesthetics industry and i went on to do multiple courses into Aesthetics.  

I qualified just before lockdown and was completely over the moon that i was going to be able to help multiple people feel better within themselves and to also build a life for me and my children .

However covid struck and lockdown hit hard as i had to completely isolate away from the world , this included work , friends and my family . Due to my daughter has health issue's ,  her getting covid may of had catastrophic consequences so i completely locked down for nearly 3 years !  This was an extremely challenging time , i lost my job in the clinic and missed out of times with my family and my children also missed out on school , social development and so much more .  

During the period of time in lockdown my papa caught covid and absolutely soul destroyingly he didn't make it through . He is my Hero and My King. I will make him proud . 

During the time my dad was in  intensive care i was in touch with an amazing lady who i briefly knew from before through Aesthetics .

She is also a NHS nurse and worked within the hospital and she was working in intensive care where my papa was .  She did all within her oath to try and help ease our heartbreak whilst my dad was on life support . Telling him that we loved him , playing his music to him , playing our voice notes to him and telling us to stay strong.

She really helped ressure us that my dad heard our messages . This was huge comfort to our family .

And here i am now i did some training with this incredible lady and i also did a refresher course to ensure the safety of my clients. And now I'm ready to open my doors and be the Aesthetics Practitioner i trained to be . 

I am here to help make a difference to all of you amazing peope , i absolutely love to help people feel the best version of themselves . I started my career into Aesthetics not having no confidence,  no self belief and feeling like i was isolated after the whole pandemic .

Doing all of this made me truly get to know who I was deep within, and more importantly it taught me that if I really want this life then I’m the only person who can go out there and get it!
